On Friday evening, the Miami Heat will face off against Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C.
Before the game, the Heat made a roster move by recalling Orlando Robinson from the team’s G League affiliate (Sioux Falls Skyforce).
Via Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald : “Orlando Robinson has re-joined the Heat from the Sioux Falls Skyforce and will be available tonight vs. Wizards.”
Robinson has played in 20 games (seven starts) for the Heat this season and is averaging 4.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 51.7% from the field.
The 23-year-old has spent a lot of time in the G League and has been phenomenal.
Over six regular season games, he is averaging 26.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.5 blocks per contest while shooting 54.5% from the field and 35.7% from the three-point range.
As for the Heat, they are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-23 record in their first 48 games.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Sacramento Kings by a score of 115-106.
