Man Shot by Cop Dies After Ramming Car into Gas Station in Plantation

A man who was shot by a police officer after a domestic incident and subsequent high-speed chase in Plantation, Florida, has tragically passed away, WPLG Local 10 News is reporting today.

According to the Plantation police, the incident happened just before 5 a.m. on Friday at a Mobil gas station located at 10261 W. Broward Boulevard.

A 31-year-old woman had gone into the gas station to escape her boyfriend, identified as 32-year-old Roshod Graham of Jacksonville, when he rammed the door of the gas station with his vehicle.

Surveillance footage obtained by WPLG Local 10 News and circulated publicly showed Graham repeatedly driving his car into the front doors of the business before eventually exiting the vehicle and forcing his way inside the damaged entrance.

The video also showed the woman and store clerk, who was on the phone on a 911 call, seeking security in a room in the back, as Graham made his way inside the store.

You can hear the woman asking the store clerk to “hide me” as she made her way down the aisle and to the back room.
