Boynton Beach Panda Express Shut Down After State Inspection

Floridians who enjoy Asian food have a wide range of choices. There are popular independently-owned shops like Zom Hee and Hales Blackbrick, to name a few examples. However, Floridians who want fast options might choose a chain like Panda Express. Unfortunately, one store of that chain – in Boyton Beach – was recently temporarily shut down after a state inspection.

About Panda Express: This eatery originated in California in 1983, with a focus on Mandarin and Sichuan cuisine.

Today, the chain has over 2,000 locations and is the largest Asian-segment restaurant chain in the United States. Menu offerings include orange chicken, Beijing beef, and honey walnut shrimp.

The location in question on Congress Avenue earns 3.5 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. Some patrons complained that if you go close to closing, you may not get the food items of your choice. But many complimented the food.

A reviewer named Christian wrote:

“I’m giving this place a perfect score simply because this is our comfort food. (It’s) near to our place and their food is good! The service is quick, and we have (had a) nice experience eating inside/outside. My favorite is the sweet fire chicken!”
