Cocaine Kingpin Caught: Major Supplier Arrested in Boynton Beach Drug Ring Bust

Today, Attorney General Ashley Moody’s Office of Statewide Prosecution announced the arrest of a key supplier involved in a major drug-trafficking operation based out of Boynton Beach. William Moyo, charged with multiple felony counts including trafficking and conspiracy to traffic cocaine, is accused of supplying large quantities of cocaine and fentanyl to the notorious “Big Boi” drug ring, which has already led to the arrest of 17 other individuals.

Attorney General Ashley Moody praised law enforcement efforts, stating, “This latest arrest should serve as a warning to anyone looking to traffic drugs in our state. Florida law enforcement will track you down, and my Statewide Prosecutors will ensure you end up in prison.”

During the investigation, authorities linked Moyo to the supply of several kilograms of cocaine and fentanyl to the drug ring led by Johnson Joseph. A search of Moyo’s residence resulted in the discovery of more than 20 kilograms of cocaine.

The “Big Boi” drug-trafficking ring, which distributed significant quantities of fentanyl and cocaine throughout Palm Beach County, has been under investigation for months. Authorities have seized over 50 pounds of illegal drugs as part of the ongoing investigation. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement supported the operation through the State Assistance Enforcement for Fentanyl Eradication grant.
