Corvette owner finds ‘would-be thief’ trapped inside car in Florida

A would-be car thief found himself trapped inside a Corvette and had to plead with the owner to be freed from the vehicle .

Florida man Julio Solano, 34, was getting his morning coffee when he returned to his car and was informed by a parking attendant that there was someone in his vehicle .

Initially, he thought it was a joke. However, upon reaching his car parked on Washington Avenue and 16th Street in Miami Beach, Florida , he discovered a man inside.

In a video of the incident, Julio can be heard telling the intruder, “My brother, this is not your car, this is my car.”

The apparent trespasser then begs Julio to let him out. Julio, a real estate investor from Miami Beach, said: “I was completely shocked.

“I was trying to stay calm at the same time, I knew he couldn’t start the car. I figured he was trapped so I stayed calm and collected.”
