A high-speed police chase through the streets of Coral Gables culminated in a crash after a van, reported stolen from HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, was spotted by officers Tuesday night. The pursuit began when Coral Gables Police Department’s Crime Suppression team attempted to stop the stolen vehicle, which had been identified via a be-on-the-lookout (BOLO) alert from Miami police. The chase ended near the crossroads of Le Jeune Road and University Drive, according to Local 10 News.
