FORT LAUDERDALE: One person died in a car crash on eastbound Sunrise Boulevard on Sunday afternoon, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said.
The lanes were closed at Interstate 95 after the fatal crash.
The car crashed into a palm tree and overturned.
An investigation revealed the crash occurred in the jurisdiction of the Broward Sheriff Office. That agency is leading the investigation
