Two Florida Residents Win $1 Million Each from Scratch-Off Lottery Tickets

In a stroke of good fortune for the Sunshine State, two Florida residents have each won $1 million after playing the “$1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular” scratch-off game. Sandra Kelley of Port Charlotte and Nasser Delgado of Miami both claimed the impressive prize from the popular $50 lottery game, which offers a 1-in-4.50 chance of winning.

Where They Bought the Winning Tickets

According to the Florida Lottery, Kelley purchased her winning ticket at the Publix located at 4265 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. Meanwhile, Delgado bought his winning ticket from Kendale Service Center, Inc., at 700 Southwest 56th Street in Miami. Both lucky winners opted for a one-time lump-sum payout of $640,000 each.

Retailers Also Win

In addition to Kelley and Delgado’s exciting wins, the retailers that sold the winning tickets will also benefit. Each store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission from the Florida Lottery for their part in the big wins.
