Nashville To Miami Flight Hosts Surprise Taylor Swift Sing-Along… & It Looks Like Pure Nightmare Fuel

Nightmare fuel, to be honest. Apparently,

Taylor Swift

is kicking off the second leg of the U.S. Eras Tour in Miami, Florida this weekend (yes, I had to look that up) at Hard Rock Stadium… and obviously hoards of women are headed to see her lengthy spectacle of a show. And to be quite frank, I’m not really a fan of her music, though I did jam out to “Picture to Burn” and some of her country stuff back in high school, I can’t lie. Generally speaking, though, I rarely listen to her, and her hardcore “Swiftie” fans scare me a little bit. While I don’t understand her fan base at all, really, I try not to be too critical because we all love different artists for different reasons, no matter how ridiculous might seem to someone who just doesn’t get it… that I understand fully. But every now and then, something involving her fans just goes too far, and what happened on this Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Miami last night just feels so over the top that I had to share. One of Taylor’s early co-writers Liz Rose and a guitar player played a full-on concert during the flight appropriately named #1989, and as you can imagine, the Swifties were living for it. A video on TikTok shows them going absolutely feral for “All Too Well,” which Rose co-wrote, though they heard plenty of other hits. It appears as though this little concert was a surprise, and obviously there are a ton of Swifties headed to Miami for the concert aboard, but if you just happened to buy a ticket for this specific flight, and had no warning of this… I think I would seriously have to get on the next one. I mean, nothing against Taylor or Liz… Liz is a phenomenal songwriter whose written hits for the like of Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum and more, in addition to Taylor, but when I’m on a flight, I want to put my headphones in, watch something, or take a nap in peace… not do whatever this is. But hey, like I said, the Swifties are a different breed and they were clearly loving it from what I could see in this angle:
