An Old Kmart Is FL’s 1st Store Of Inexpensive Grocer Specializing In European Food. Reviews Are Good

If you live in Florida, you may be aware that in 2024, Florida got some new grocers that specialize in diverse offerings. I’ve written about Florida getting Lotte Market, H Mart, and Pepe’s Hacienda, as just a few examples. And now, we can add another to the list – a grocer that specializes in European offerings – NetCost.

About NetCost: This grocer began in New York City in 2000 with the mission to provide people with tastes of home as well as “freshly made culinary delights that cannot be found in any other store.”

The store has traditional sections like bakery, seafood, deli, produce, cheese, chocolates, and beverages.

It also offers European offerings like herring, sour veggies, caviar, pierogis and borscht.

The New Florida Store: A new NetCost just opened in Florida at Oakwood Plaza at 3791 Oakwood Boulevard in Hollywood. It is inside of an old Kmart.

Many patrons have enjoyed it if Google reviews are any indication. Nikita leaves a typical good review, writing:

“The new NetCost Market is a fantastic addition! The store is clean, and well-organized, and offers an impressive selection of fresh produce, international specialties, and unique imported items. The bakery and deli stand out for their quality, and the prices are competitive. Friendly staff make the shopping experience even better. Highly recommend checking it out!”
