Florida family of 10 dine & dash at La Camaronera Seafood Joint and Fish Market in Miami

The owner of La Camaronera Seafood Joint and Fish Market in Miami, Florida, spoke to WSVN 7News in frustration after a family of ten reportedly dined and dashed, leaving a $428 bill unpaid.

Surveillance footage captured the family, including young children, quickly exiting the restaurant and speeding away in their SUV while a waiter was captured chasing them out of the parking lot.

David Garcia, the restaurant owner, described the incident as a “criminal example” and expressed concern for the safety of his employee who was nearly struck by the vehicle.

While a family member later returned to pay the bill, Garcia emphasized that this occurred only after the incident was publicized on social media. He maintains that no restaurant should endure such treatment and warns that his establishment is well-equipped with security cameras to deter future attempts.

“A family member has come in and paid their bill,” said Garcia during a video interview with 7News.
