A Wellington man who crashed his BMW into an SUV at a speed of 151 miles per hour, killing six people, has been sentenced to 12 and a half years behind bars.
20-year old Noah Galle accepted a plea deal with prosecutors in which he pleaded guilty to six counts of vehicular homicide in connection to the crash that happened in January of 2022 along State Road Seven near Delray Beach.
Had he gone to trial, Galle faced up to 90 years in prison.
Relatives of the victims were not in court today, but prosecutors say they don’t object to the deal.
The judge is allowing Galle, who was 17 at the time of the crash, to remain free until February 3rd when he will turn himself in.
