Best brunch in South Florida? Our readers have voted this cozy spot as their favorite

If adding more brunch outings to your life is at the top of your New Year’s resolutions list, we have an important announcement that may help you kick-start this gastronomic goal.

Leading up to the holidays (prime brunching season, in our opinion), we asked readers to let us know which restaurants in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties satisfy their hankering for eggs Benedict, pancakes, crispy bacon, avocado toast, bloody marys, or perhaps some less-typical, breakfast-meets-lunch fare, for our Best of South Florida Dining series.

After tallying two-weeks’ worth of nominations , we announced the top five finalists, which, in alphabetical order, were:

  • Boatyard , Fort Lauderdale
  • Java & Jam , Fort Lauderdale
  • Kristof’s Kafe , Davie
  • Torno Subito , Miami

Readers took time out of their busy seasonal celebrations to vote for the eatery serving their favorite brunch items — whether sweet, savory or covered in gravy. So now, let’s raise a mimosa (or a peach bellini, if you prefer) to our waffle-making winner … Kristof’s Kafe!
