Child airlifted, 3 others injured in multi-vehicle crash in South Florida

MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A multi-vehicle crash on a South Florida freeway left four people injured and required a child to be airlifted on Friday.

Just after 1 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the crash on US-1 near mile marker 121, where four people were found injured.

Officials called in a pediatric trauma alert, airlifting a child involved in the crash, to a nearby trauma center for their injuries.
