MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A Miami Gardens man surrendered himself at the city’s police station Monday to face four felony charges in connection with a deadly late-March crash.
Police said Guy Donnie Norman, 35, had alcohol and marijuana in his system when he struck and killed a cyclist on Miami Gardens Drive while driving at more than double the posted speed limit. They said he then walked away from the scene.
According to an arrest report from the Miami Gardens Police Department, the crash happened at around 11 p.m. on March 30 near Northwest Seventh Avenue as the cyclist “attempted to cross the roadway from north to south.”…
