Brooklyn man busted in Boca attempting to buy $11.5k Rolex with fake ID, credit card

BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — A Brooklyn, New York, man was arrested after allegedly attempting to purchase a $11,500 Rolex with a counterfeit driver’s license and credit card at a Boca Raton pawn shop.

The Boca Raton Police Department (BRPD) said that on Thursday at 6:35 p.m., they responded to a report of fraud at a potential fraud incident at VIPawn located at 485 NE 20th Street.

The report said that a man, later identified as Godfrey Aristil, allegedly attempted to buy a Rolex watch valued at $11,500 using what appeared to be a fake driver’s license and credit card…
