Man accused of punching Chili’s employee in Miami, knocking 5 front teeth out

MIAMI – A 20-year-old man was arrested Sunday after he punched a Chili’s employee in the face at the restaurant’s Bayside Marketplace location in Miami, knocking the victim unconscious and causing the victim to lose five front teeth, authorities said.

According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, the attack occurred around 7:15 p.m. Sunday at the Chili’s at 401 Biscayne Blvd.

Police said witnesses escorted an officer to the garage area where the suspect was allegedly attempting to flee and told the officer that the suspect’s family members told them they would shoot them if they continued to follow them to their vehicle…
