FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police arrested a Fort Lauderdale man on a sexual battery charge Thursday in connection with accusations from an acquaintance in 2023.
Brenden Lee Jones, whose name is alternatively listed in official records as Brendon or Brendan Lee Jones, is accused of raping the woman on Sept. 15, 2023 after the two had gotten into a car crash and she was hurt.
According to an incident report from the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, the woman, living at a Lauderhill homeless shelter, called that city’s police department to report that she was raped “somewhere behind the KFC” at 3100 W. Broward Blvd…
