Pet owners in Broward County can access free vaccinations and low-cost licensing at upcoming May 23 event

Pompano Beach, Florida – As Broward County Animal Care prepares to hold a free Pet Wellness Clinic in Pompano Beach on Friday, May 23, pet owners in Broward County will have a chance to give their furry friends a health boost. Open to all countywide residents, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Animal Care satellite location, 3100 NW 19th Terrace.

This special clinic is designed to make important pet health services easy to access and affordable—actually, entirely free for rabies vaccinations and microchipping. With the procedure made as easy as possible, pet owners can also register their pets right on the spot. A step that guarantees a place for services but not a certain appointment time, anyone desiring to attend can pre-register online. All procedures on the day will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis.

“This clinic is part of our ongoing commitment to making pet health services accessible and affordable to all Broward County residents,” said Doug Brightwell, Director of Broward County Animal Care. “We’re here to serve our community and help ensure pets stay safe, healthy, and protected.”…
