Miami Beach celebrated patriotism in grand style this Memorial Day weekend, returning a fan-favorite tradition.

Held on May 24 and 25, the 9th annual Hyundai Air & Sea Show was the Memorial Day weekend event once again declared to be among the most expected in Greater Miami. This free public event, known as ‘The Greatest Show Above the Earth,’ drew thousands of spectators to the sun-soaked shores of Miami Beach to witness thrilling military aerial demonstrations, high-speed powerboat races, high-speed powerboat races, and exciting skydiving exhibitions.

The show featured all six branches of the U.S. military. It offered a rare opportunity to witness elite aircraft in action, including the F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-15 Eagle, A-10 Thunderbolt II, and the highly advanced F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. The skies over South Beach came alive with precision flight demonstrations and parachute jumps performed by renowned teams such as the U.S. Army Golden Knights, Navy Leap Frogs, and the British Army’s Red Devils.

Audiences on the water had adrenaline-packed performances, with Jet Ski freestyle shows, Flyboarders, and powerboat racing keeping everyone on the edge. Families flocked to Florida Power & Light Company’s FPL Patriot Display Village to enjoy fun for all with flight simulators, interactive exhibits, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Kids Zone, and rest areas for veterans and active-duty personnel.

Lummus Park on Ocean Drive was the prime viewing area, offering uninterrupted views of the breathtaking aerial and maritime spectacles. For those seeking a more refined experience, LT Steak & Seafood provided upscale dining and a multi-story vantage point that overlooked the action from above…
