A 17-year-old girl has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of her brother.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday, May 22 that Deashia Smith was arrested on charges of second-degree murder with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the death of her 20-year-old brother Rae’quan Smith. Her alleged accomplice, Elton Hightower, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.
