Man accused of firing gun, threatening deputies in northeast Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after deputies say he fired a gun into the air, pointed it at a woman, and later threatened to kill several deputies in northeast Miami-Dade.

Jail records show Pierre Mendes Alcindor faces one count each of aggravated assault with a firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, unlawfully discharging a firearm from a public place or residential property, along with three counts of threatening or influencing a public servant.

Deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said they responded to two separate reports of gunfire — one near Ives Dairy Road and Northeast 15th Avenue and another in a nearby condominium parking lot on Tuesday…
