MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Synagogues in South Florida have been ramping up security after a 45-year-old Egyptian national injured eight people during a Jewish community event on Sunday in Colorado, authorities said.
The Miami Beach and Sunny Isles Beach police departments were among the law enforcement agencies that released statements about the efforts they are taking to protect their communities.
