New details uncovered after man, woman stabbed in necks in Sunrise

SUNRISE, Fla. – While an initial arrest report obtained by Local 10 News in connection with a double stabbing at a Sunrise apartment complex was heavily redacted, a second copy of the arrest report obtained Monday reveals more details about what led up to the horrific crime.

According to the arrest report for Jackson Julian Sagesse, Jr., 21, who lives at The Retreat at Sawgrass Village, located at 3000 NW 130th Ave., surveillance video from the complex’s parking garage shows Sagesse approaching a black Mercedes-Benz sedan last Wednesday and stabbing a woman who was sitting in the rear passenger seat after the driver, Ian Bryant, went inside the building.

Sunrise police said the woman, Hailey Hosford, 28, of Boca Raton, initially opened the passenger side door, but then tried to quickly close it in an attempt to hide in the vehicle.

But police said Sagesse grabbed the door, forcing it open and then “a repeated stabbing motion” was visible on video…
