Humane Society of Broward hopes to find ‘furever’ homes for Manny, other dogs

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Humane Society of Broward County is calling on the public to open their homes to a growing number of puppies, including an 11-week-old shepherd mix named Manny, who appeared on Saturday morning’s “Adopt a Pet” segment.

Cherie Wachter, a spokesperson for the shelter, introduced Manny, describing him as “adorable, smart, and playful”—and just one of many puppies currently up for adoption.

“We’ve almost got him sitting for a treat,” she said. “He’s got those razor-sharp puppy teeth, so toys and chew bones are a must.”…
