FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) — Silver Airways, a Florida-based airline, revealed that it has ceased all operations effective immediately on Wednesday.
The airline, which travels throughout Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean, took to social media to inform its customers of this development.
“We regret to inform you that we are ceasing operations as of today, June 11, 2025,” the post stated. “Silver Airways had recently entered into a restructuring process under bankruptcy, aiming to sell its assets to another airline holding company. However, the new owners have decided not to continue Silver’s flight operations in Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.”…
