MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A former Miami-Dade Fire Rescue lieutenant is facing serious charges after investigators said they found a hidden camera in a fire station bathroom.
The camera’s micro-SD card contained more than 600 video clips showing 18 employees “while they were in their most vulnerable state,” according to an arrest warrant obtained by NBC6.

The former lieutenant, Manuel Fernandez, 55, is believed to have planted the camera in the men’s bathroom at a fire station in Doral. Authorities said he’d disguised the camera as a wall charger plugged into an electrical outlet.
