‘All ya’ll gonna learn today’: Florida man told cops to ‘check the text messages’ after murdering woman in motel because he was mad his car was towed, cops say

A Florida man who apparently goes by the name “Sugar Daddy” is behind bars after he allegedly shot two people in a motel, killing one and seriously injuring the other, because he was angry about his car being towed.

Ronald James Davis, 51, stands accused of first-degree murder and attempted murder in a shooting that occurred around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at the Plantation Motel in Plantation, a South Florida city just west of Fort Lauderdale. According to a probable cause arrest affidavit, cops found a man lying face down in a pool of blood and a woman inside a room. Both had suffered gunshot wounds.

The woman allegedly identified Davis as the shooter before she lost consciousness due to blood loss and went into surgery…
