MIRAMAR, Fla. (CBS12) — Tragedy struck a South Florida community on Tuesday when a missing 2-year-old child was found deceased in a nearby lake after an extensive search effort.
The Miramar Police Department (MPD) said its officers responded to the residence at Riviera Isles on July 8 following reports of the toddler’s disappearance.
A coordinated search involving Miramar detectives, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Pembroke Pines Police Department.
