A grim discovery was made in Miramar this morning when a dog walker stumbled upon a body in a local canal. The scene, situated near Bernard Park at the intersection of North Sherman Circle and Bernard Boulevard, drew a quick response from Miramar police officers who erected a temporary barrier to shield the body from the public’s view, particularly notable as it was adjacent to several residential communities including Heron Pointe, Lakeview townhomes, and the Legacy Lakevista Apartments, Local 10 reported.
