Miami-Dade deputies arrested two suspects early Wednesday in connection with an armed home invasion over the weekend.
George Byrnes, 32, of Surfside, and Jessica Clendening, 34, allegedly forced their way into a home Saturday night in the 14400 block of Northeast Fourth Avenue while asking for a specific resident, according to an arrest report. Deputies say Clendening grabbed the door and entered uninvited, with Byrnes following and pressing a gun to one victim’s forehead while demanding money and the person they sought.
The victims handed over about $200 in cash and alerted the targeted resident, who later identified both suspects from photos, saying he had known them for years. Authorities have not disclosed why the suspects were looking for him…
