The Florida Lottery recently announced that Enrique Albo, of Hialeah, claimed a $10 million top prize from the Gold Rush Legacy scratch-off game.
The South Florida man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $6,030,000.
The Miami-Dade County winner turned $20 into $10 million when he purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 7520 N.W. 186th Street in Hialeah. The retailer received a $20,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
