Hialeah Fugitive Caught After Traffic Stop Mistake in Santa Rosa, Deputies Say

Eduardo Parapar’s week on the run ended Tuesday in northwestern Florida when deputies arrested him after a traffic stop, according to the Hialeah Police Department.

Parapar, 23, a former middle linebacker and wide receiver at Westland Hialeah High School, was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on Wednesday.

Deputies said they first noticed him driving erratically and ordered him to pull over. Parapar complied but gave a false name before trying to flee on foot. K-9 units tracked him down, and officers confirmed he was the fugitive from Hialeah police bulletins, who had been described as an “armed and dangerous” burglary suspect…
