DAVIE, Fla. — A Local 10 viewer captured disturbing video behind Gogiya Korean BBQ in Davie that shows kitchen equipment crawling with roaches.
The footage, taken Monday at the Lincoln Park Davie Shopping Plaza on Stirling Road, shows an employee carrying what appear to be kitchen drain grates with roaches spilling out. The owner is then seen spraying the equipment with bug killer.
When confronted, the owner laughed at first, then claimed he was simply cleaning the grates and insisted the roaches were not inside the kitchen. However, the equipment had just been removed from the cook line area. The restaurant has not been ordered shut by the state…
