Woman cops say was run over after spurning man’s request to smell her feet: ‘I’m still standing’

AVENTURA, Fla. — A woman police said was the victim of a bizarre crime in Aventura is speaking to Local 10 News. Authorities said a 28-year-old man hit her with his SUV soon after she declined to let him smell her feet.

The woman, who asked not to be identified, told Local 10 News that she met up with Elmoncy Sercle at the Serena Hotel, located at 2820 NE 214th St., on Sunday afternoon in order to sell him a pair of used sneakers.

“When I got there, he just wanted to sniff my feet and I didn’t feel comfortable with that,” the woman said. “I mean, you could have my sneakers all you want. I mean, I don’t care. I’m not wearing them. And you know, they’re just stinky old sneakers. But people like weird things.”…
