BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida caretaker is accused of stealing her patient’s home and spending nearly all of his life savings to take lavish international trips.
The Broward County Property Appraiser’s Office and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said Lillian Morris was a home health care professional who was hired to serve as a caregiver for the victim after he was hospitalized.
The victim’s family said they started to get concerned when Morris began to stay at his house overnight and be at the home when she wasn’t scheduled to work.
