MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — A man deported in 2009 for trafficking cocaine was sentenced to five years after illegally returning and pleading guilty to child sex crimes.
Marco Orlando Vado, 66, pleaded guilty Wednesday and was sentenced to 60 months to run consecutive to a 72-month Broward County term for probation violation, following his Miami guilty plea for attempted sexual battery of a child under 12.
Vado first came to the attention of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in November 2009 after a Broward County conviction for trafficking more than 400 grams of cocaine; he was deported the following month…
