YNW Bortlen, born Cortlen Henry, officially accepted a plea deal on Tuesday (Sept. 9) in connection to the 2018 double murder of YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser. Appearing before Judge Martin S. Fein in a Broward County courtroom, Bortlen entered a no-contest plea to two charges: accessory after the fact and witness tampering. In return, the state agreed to drop the first-degree murder charges originally filed against him.

As part of the agreement, Bortlen was sentenced to 10 years in Florida State Prison, followed by six years of probation. However, he was granted 1,707 days of credit for time already served, which equals just over four and a half years.
