MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A 44-year-old convicted felon who has been in and out of prison since 2016 appeared in Miami-Dade County court on Wednesday to face more charges after a recent conviction over baby sea turtles in Miami Beach.
Daniel Ambrose’s most recent prison stay was for possession of cocaine with the intent to purchase or distribute on Sept. 6, 2022, in Miami-Dade, records show. The Florida Department of Corrections released him on Jan. 7, 2024.
