‘Skin and bones’: Man accused of neglecting malnourished dog in Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A 33-year-old man is facing an animal neglect charge after deputies said they found a malnourished pit bull tied to a tree in the backyard of his mother’s Pompano Beach home.

The suspect, identified as Jabarri Matthew Booker, was arrested Thursday near the 2600 block of Northwest 10th Street, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
