A Fort Lauderdale man is facing eight serious felony charges after deputies say he stalked and tracked his girlfriend using her own electronic devices, then ambushed her with a handgun at a Tamarac gas station.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Solomon Demond Loud, 22, was arrested on the morning of September 10 at the 7-Eleven located at 4999 North State Road 7. Deputies allege that Loud used his girlfriend’s MacBook and Apple Watch to track her location in real-time.
Investigators say the victim initially noticed she was being tracked while at Fort Lauderdale Beach, where Loud allegedly appeared wearing a ski mask and armed. She drove away and shut off her phone, but later turned it back on at the gas station, not realizing her Apple Watch was still active…
