One-man crime wave starts with robbery at Tootsie’s, ends with chase, crash into cop car, police say

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — A man is facing 10 felony and two misdemeanor charges after a series of crimes that began at the well-known Tootsie’s Cabaret strip club in Miami Gardens and ended with him trying to run over police officers in the victim’s stolen car, according to an arrest report.

Miami Gardens police said Sedrick Travon Grady, 27, of Weston, was at the club, located at 150 NW 83rd St., just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday when he “became jealous” after seeing a woman he was “in a sexual relationship” with “talking to other men inside the nightclub.”

That led Grady to grab the woman and eventually rob her of her purse by yanking it off her, breaking the shoulder strap, an arrest report states…
