SUNRISE, Fla. — A 40-year-old Sunrise man is facing charges after police say he allegedly shot his roommate during a dispute over a shared car this past weekend.
The suspect, identified by Sunrise police as Jabbar Guy Amonaa, faces one count each of attempted murder, illegal possession of a weapon as a convicted felon and public order crimes – criminal attempt/solicit/conspire, a second-degree felony, according to jail records.
