Seven years later, arbitrator upholds deputy dismissal in Parkland massacre case

More than seven years later, there’s a measure of accountability for the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

A court of arbitration ruled this week that Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony was justified in firing deputy Edward Eason for making no effort to confront the shooter who murdered 17 people and wounded 17 others.
