A woman was arrested after police say she attacked the driver of a vehicle from the backseat, causing the driver to flee the car to call 911.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Broward County court, Kayla Sophia Triplett, 30, of Coral Springs, was taken into custody on September 19 following an altercation that occurred the previous evening.
The Coral Springs Police Department incident report shows that Triplett was riding in a vehicle with the victim, identified as a woman over the age of 65, and a witness. Investigators say Triplett became verbally aggressive, telling the victim she “deserved to be dead” and threatening to kill her…
