The trial of a woman accused of plotting to murder her romantic rival in Tamarac more that three years ago was underway on Tuesday.
Sakiyna Thompson, 31, is facing a first-degree murder charge in the July 2022 killing of 23-year-old Kayla Hodgson.
Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said Thompson flew to South Florida from New York days before the murder with the intent of killing Hodgson.
