LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — A Lauderdale Lakes man who will likely be spending his next birthday in jail is accused of threatening to carry out a mass shooting after deputies say he was caught on camera making violent threats that referenced Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and Plantation back in August.
Jail records show Michael Christopher Rojas, who turns 42 on Sunday, was arrested Wednesday evening by deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
