An off-campus argument between two Broward students Wednesday escalated when the spat spilled onto school grounds the following day — ending with 12 students pepper-sprayed and hospitalized, officials said.
Around noon Thursday, two students were arguing in the common area of Blanche Ely High School, 1201 NW 6th Ave, when one of them pulled out and disseminated pepper spray, said John Sullivan, a Broward County Public Schools spokesperson.
The pair arguing, as well as 10 other children, were pepper-sprayed and had to be taken to a local hospital. Their conditions have not been released…
