Woman drove 124 mph in Lexus before killing local attorney in I-595 crash, prosecutors say

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A 19-year-old Sunny Isles Beach woman was driving a Lexus at 124 mph one second before crashing into a minivan and killing its passenger on Interstate 595 in Davie in 2024, prosecutors said.

Now 20, Sofia Todorov appeared in Broward County court on Wednesday to face charges of vehicular homicide and reckless driving.
