With locations spread across 14 countries, Bun:D is a concept born “from the growing anti-fast food sentiments and the backlash against unhealthy food in the world.” Founded in 2011, the chain has taken its selection of healthy bowls, breakfast, and smoothies & juices all over the world. Now, it’s preparing to make its Florida debut.
This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by NASA Food Inc. for a Bun:D location in Fort Lauderdale, at 6314 Powerline Road. The location is part of the Shoppes of Corporate Park retail center, which is home to a variety of restaurant concepts, included Chili’s Grill & Bar, Sun Rice Chinese Restaurant, and Le Vinois Bakery.
What Now confirmed news of the opening on Wednesday with Bun:D’s US Operations Manager, Tyler Baumgardner. Baumgardner was not immediately available to comment further on the opening, however…
